Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Orzo (Creamy, Cozy & Family-Friendly)

- 50 g uncooked orzo pasta
- 2 × 280 g packages frozen broccoli with cheese sauce total 560 g
- 30 g butter
- 680 g boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1.25 cm (½-inch) cubes
- 1 medium onion about 150 g, chopped
- 4 g salt ¾ teaspoon
- 2 g black pepper ½ teaspoon
Cook the orzo and broccoli
Cook the orzo according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
At the same time, heat the frozen broccoli with cheese sauce according to package directions.
Cook the chicken
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chicken cubes, chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for 6–8 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the onion is soft and translucent.
Combine everything
Add the cooked orzo and the broccoli with cheese sauce to the skillet.
Stir well to combine and cook for 2–3 minutes, until everything is heated through and evenly coated in the sauce.
